Our Ideal Candidate:
Recent graduates with a degree in a relevant field (engineering, architecture, construction project management, and related areas of academic study) to fill an Estimator position in our growing Orlando office. Desired skills for this position include an understanding of construction principles, estimating, and ability to work in the field when necessary. While on the job, experience will be gained in building damage evaluation, remediation and mitigation methods, and construction cost estimating with an emphasis on repairs.

Candidates with insurance industry experience (particularly in commercial property damage claims adjusting), project management experience (in the remediation/restoration industry), or with experience in construction trades are also encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1 - 5 years of related experience are expected to have a background in construction damage assessment, repair cost estimating, and preparation of reports.

Position Overview:
The position requires travel for inspections of damaged structures and for follow-up meetings with other industry professionals, often locally and regionally, but also to other areas of
North America and, occasionally, abroad. Travel can be exciting and often requires long work hours due to the nature of conducting field inspections.

All applicants should be able to work in a team environment, be driven to learn, and take direction from supervisors and teammates. Applicants are expected to have above average verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present themselves professionally in meetings and negotiations. It is also important for applicants to possess good observation skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple projects.

The total compensation package will be determined based on experience. The compensation package includes:

We are seeking candidates to fill an Accounts Receivable Associate position in our New York City office in Midtown Manhattan. READ MORE

The core function of this position is to track billing and payments, follow up with our clients as needed, keep records of all client communication, and coordinate with the rest of the administrative staff to make sure invoices are submitted correctly as per client specifications. Applicants should have above average verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present themselves confidently in e-mails and over the phone. Additionally, the position requires a high level of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and, particularly, Excel). Experience with A/R or billing software (Bill Quick) and client software programs such as Legal X is a plus but not required.

Candidates with insurance industry experience are encouraged to apply. We are also interested in candidates with experience in accounts receivable in other industries. Educational backgrounds in accounting, business management, and related areas of academic study are a plus. Candidates without educational backgrounds or pertinent experience could also be considered if they have the right skillset and personality.
