DBI consulted on fire and water damage sustained at Prada’s New York City flagship store, located in a turn-of-the-century building in SoHo. The building interior features custom finishes by the Office of Metropolitan Architecture led by architect Rem Koolhaas. The original cost to design and construct the space was approximately $40M. DBI maintained an active monitoring role throughout the restoration process that protected the integrity of the custom finishes and prepared the store to reopen quickly.
